Boy and for girl...Awsome!
A combination name with a Flower as the 1st name, a gemstone as the 2nd, a color as 3rd, and a quality as 4th!
Although I think that these combinations may be too much, I would go with:
Lily Sapphire Scarlett Joy
or
Daisy Opal Sienna Faith
and
Heath Garnet Grey Justice
or
Jasper Amethyst Auburn Truth
But I think it might be too much...
What about:

Flower Baby Name Game!?
1. Acacia. The others sound too weird and scientific for me lol, but Acacia kind of sound like Alicia, so I don't think it would be too terrible. Ace would be such a cool nickname.
2. Violet!! Definitely my favorite of all time, and it's so gorgeous and cute. I like Jasmine and Holly too though.
3. Rose... but Dahlia is a very, very close second. Rose is just so classic and beautiful, but Dahlia is unusual and spunky, so it's a hard decision.
4. Angelica. Ivy is cute though too, and so is Genevrier (the only reason I didn't pick that is because it kind of looks hard to pronounce right). Myrtle just sound old and gross to me lol, plus it reminds me Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter lol.
5. Alisier. Ali is super cute, and besides that, I really don't like any of the other ones lol except for possibly Reseda (nn Reese). Teasel has tease right in her name!
6. Laurel! Gorgeous name, and Laurie would be too cute. It's also really nice as an alternative to the really popular Lauren.
7. Juniper. Junie is so cute, and it's such a fresh and pretty name. Fuchsia would be cute too though.
8. Jessamine!! Really pretty alternative to Jessica.
9. Bryony! It sounds so pretty and British to me. lol though now I don't know if I'd use it, after reading and seeing Atonement. The Briony there was such a ***** haahha.
10. Poppy! Cute, spunky and just awesome. I'd like it better maybe as a nickname though for something like Penelope.

Does any one know something about the flower named...Euphorbia?
I think it is also called Crown of Thorns
Does any one know something about the flower named...Euphorbia?
Euphorbia milii is a slow-growing, ferociously thorny,semi-succulent shrub with bright green leaves. It is native to Madagascar.
Deciduous in cooler areas, it tolerates dry conditions and grows to a height of about 3'. It is excellent in frost-free rock gardens or sunny courtyards and is often used as a low hedge in coastal areas. Culture:Sun or part shade; in moist, well-drained soil;Cold hardiness varies depending on the species, the more highly succulent species are generally frost tender.Propagate from cuttings in spring or summer, allowing succulent species to dry and callus before placing in barely damp sand, by division in early spring or fall, or from seed in fall or spring.
Reply:Spurges (genus Euphorbia) are a very large and variable worldwide plant taxon, belonging to the spurge family, or Euphorbiaceae.
Origin of the name
The common name spurge derives from the Middle English / Old French: espurge, to purge, due to the use of the plants sap as purgative.
The botanical name Euphorbia derives from the Greek Euphorbus, physician of king Juba II of Numidia (52-50 BC - 23 AD), in whose honour 鈥?or in allusion to his swollen belly 鈥?a certain plant he might have used (Euphorbia resinifera?) was named. In 1753 Linnaeus assigned the name to the entire genus (Spec. Pl. (ed. 1): 450). Type species is Euphorbia antiquorum
Description
The genus ranges from small trees, shrubs, vines to herbaceous plants. A significant percentage of these are succulent plant, some of which remarkably resemble cacti despite being unrelated, an example of convergent evolution. To the exception of a few species (i.e. Euphorbia hedytoides or Euphorbia curtisii), this genus is composed of monoecious species.
Spurges have a highly specialized inflorescence: the cyathium, which are reduced unisexual flowers grouped into characteristic pseudanthia. It consists of a central pistillate flower surrounded by five groups of staminate flowers. All flowers are enclosed within an involucre with four marginal glands. The central flower develops before the surrounding male ones, thus each cyathium functions like a protogynous hermaphrodite flower. The glands of the cyathium usually produce nectar, and pollination is mainly zoophilous. Indeed, the cyathium looks so much like a hermaphrodite flower that Carolus Linnaeus and other authors interpreted it as a true flower. Jean-Baptiste Lamarck however interpreted the cyathium as an inflorescence and this is now recognized.
Spurges contain an acrid, poisonous milky latex, and some of them are armed with thorns. Most of the spurges yield powerful emetic and cathartic products.
Euphorbia species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including Giant Leopard Moth.
Distribution
The genus is primarily found in the tropical and subtropical regions of Africa and the Americas, but also in temperate zones worldwide. Succulent species are mostly originated from Africa, the Americas and Madagascar.
Taxonomy
The genus Euphorbia is one of the largest and most complex genera of flowering plants and several botanists have made unsuccessfully attempts to subdivide the genus into numerous smaller genera. Now according to recent DNA studies Euphorbia can be divided into 6 subgenera, each containing several not yet sufficiently studied sections and groups...

In Hawaii it is called plumeria. In other parts of the world, they call it frangipani.
Reply:Botanical name: Plumeria obtusa
- [ (ploo-MEER-ee-uh) referring to a plume or feather; (ob-TOO-suh) blunt ]
Family: Apocynaceae (dogbane, or oleander family)
- [ (a-pos-ih-NAY-see-ay) from the Greek apo (away from or away with) and kuon (dog) ]
Reply:It's a cultivar of a plant named Plumeria or Frangipani.
It's a relative of the Oleander plant and is extremely poisonous.

Name of a wild flower found at the base of Snowdon. Single stem with white feather like flower.?
Right two choices. One use the link or two since there's ny a photo I'll take a quess and say Eidleweiss.
Name of a wild flower found at the base of Snowdon. Single stem with white feather like flower.?
I would really love to know a little more because I'm a botany student.
I need to see a picture could you modify your question to include:
Stem - "hair" no hairs?
Leaves - single triple, round or pointy?: linear or branched veins
Blossom - fused Pistil? number of petals: types/number of
stamens, etc
There is so much more that is required in order to determine the exact type of plant and then sometimes plants that "look" alike can have different DNA.
I hope you give us a picture and a little info about the area. For instance is it riparian or alpine and is it in North Wales?
Is it like the ones on this link: onehttp://www.srgc.org.uk/discus/messages/2...
Reply:There are many snowdrops at the base of Snowdon. These elegant yet small flowers bloom in spring, fighting their way through difficult and rocky soils to show their pure and perfect form for many weeks.
Reply:Sounds like a cotton grass (Eriophorum vaginatum). This is common in boggy ground. Certainly not Edelweiss, which is not native to Britain.
Reply:I'm pretty sure it's a snowdrop
they are beautiful flowers
