Northern White Violet


habitat: In the Burwash area, this violet occurs in wet woods, clearings, and more open areas or disturbed areas.





Cardinal Flower(red) Native (N. America) The flowers look like fans being held on short stems up and down the stalk. Hummingbirds are frequent visitors as are butterflies, and bees.
