I saw this flower recently and no one knows the name of it. So I thought I would ask here. But regretfully, I don't have a picture of it. Sorry.
Let's see - here is the description.
It grew on really big bush, so it's not a flower from a tree.
The one I saw had dark red petals.
The petals close when the sun sets and opens when the sun raises.
Any luck? O_o
Looking for a name of this flower.?
Passiflora rubens.
Reply:If the bush is climbing and clinging to surrounding tree or fence, it could be a Morning Glory. Those flowers open at dawn and close in the afternoon.
Reply:sounds like a hibiscus.
they have large plentiful flowes in many colors on a large bush with normally glossy leaves and the flowers close at suset and makes new ones at sunrise
Reply:im pretty sure your descrtibing a rose...or a hibiscus or even a Phoeny all of those can be grown in a bush and can be dark red
Reply:A rose.
