Name the largest flower ever found and it's one main negative feature?
The world's largest flower, called Rafflesia, can have a diameter up to one meter and can weigh up to 10 kilograms. It also smells like rotting flesh.Rafflesia arnoldii is a member of the genus Rafflesia. It is noted for producing the largest individual flower on earth. There are some plants with larger flowering organs, the Titan Arum and Talipot palm, but these are technically clusters of many flowers. It occurs only in the rainforests of Sumatra and Borneo in the Indonesia Archipelago.
Reply:I can't remember the name of it, but if I remember correctly it is supposed to emit an extremely foul odor.
Reply:Rafflesia arnoldii is the largest flower, technically.

Some people would say that the titan arum (Amorphophallus titanum) is larger but scientifically, it is a compound flower, made up of many smaller flowers.

Both smell really bad. They smell like rotting meat to attract bugs over huge distances.

Flowers of some of its species may be over 100 cm in diameter, and weigh up to 10 kg. Even the smallest species, R. manillana, has 20 cm diameter flowers.
