Reply:The most beautiful and fragrant flower that I have ever been privileged to experience. It is a beautiful orchid-like white flower with feathery insides and a star-shaped stamen. It blooms only at night, for a single night, and the redolence of its fragrance is so powerful that it permeates the air at a great distance from its source. The plant's technical name is 'Epiphyllum Oxypetallum' and it is also sometimes called Night Cereus or "Queen of the Night".
Reply:Cestrum nocturnum - ( Night Blooming Jasmine )

C. nocturnum is an evergreen shrub with night-blooming white flower clusters. As the flowers open in the evening, a lovely, bold fragrance is emitted. Likes constantly moist soil and full sun. Can tolerate some shade. Spring fertilization is recommended, as well as monthly feeds during the growing season. To maintain it's compact growth, pinch foliage and cut back hard after flowering.
Reply:Try the Casablanca Lillies...they are very fragrant esp in the evening and bloom when the sun goes down and or at night depending on the climate.

there are several varieties of moon flowers, btw - the site below lists a bunch of info on them (i just got one as a present from my neighbor this past year - the really cool thing is, they have "babies" every year - i'm gonna be a Momma this summer!)...

Reply:Most common would be Night Blooming Jasmine. It is a dark green vine with small white star-shaped flowers that smells kind of like nutmeg. But there are many flowers that bloom only at night and are fragrant.

Check out the offered sites for choices.
Reply:Moonflower is the common name for several night-blooming plants, some with white flowers, including:
